Description
The HB 5101 is a support band that wraps the calf (gastrocnemius) region below the knee. Because it wraps, one size fits a range of calf sizes and the wearer sets the level of compression — a real advantage when swelling changes through the day. The perforated neoprene keeps the area warm while allowing airflow, and the terry backing absorbs sweat so the skin stays comfortable. It is used to provide warmth and compression in muscle-fibre ruptures, calf pain, stabilisation of the gastrocnemius region and chronic oedema. It is also chosen to protect the calf during sport. If you need support for the thigh, the upper calf support is a separate product. If the leg swells suddenly and becomes red and warm, see a doctor before applying the band.
