Description
The LC 300 is a one-piece post-operative compression girdle covering the body from under the bust down to below the knee. Its row of hook-and-eye fasteners lets the garment be closed in stages once it is on; as swelling reduces you can move to an inner row, so the garment keeps fitting through recovery. It is chosen after procedures where the abdomen, hips and thighs need to be held under compression together, and being one piece removes the pressure differences that can occur where separate garments meet. Sizing is decided by considering waist, hip and calf circumference together; if the three measurements point to different sizes, follow the advice of your doctor or the specialist fitting the garment. If an above-knee length is preferred, the LC 301 is available, and for the hips and abdomen only there is the LC 302 panty-style model. The wear schedule is set by the operating surgeon.
