Description
C Bond is a one-component, light-cured bonding agent that creates the link between tooth surface and restorative material before a composite filling. It is applied as a thin layer to etched enamel and dentine, thinned with a gentle air blast and polymerised with a curing light so that the composite locks micromechanically into the tooth structure. The quality of adhesion at the cavity floor directly affects marginal sealing and the level of postoperative sensitivity, so none of the application steps should be skipped. The single-bottle presentation removes the need to handle separate primer and adhesive bottles during the procedure. The 5 ml bottle is a practical clinical volume; it should be closed immediately after each use and protected from direct light, otherwise the contents can partially polymerise inside the bottle. Although the catalogue name refers to a light-cured filling, the product itself is not a restorative material but the adhesive used before one.
