Description
Dentac Fillart is a hydraulic temporary restorative used to seal a cavity between appointments. It is taken straight from the jar and packed into the cavity with a hand instrument, with no mixing or separate catalyst, and polymerises with the moisture in the mouth. As it sets it expands slightly to fill the cavity and seal the margins hermetically, which is exactly what protects an intracanal dressing and the canal system between endodontic visits. It offers crush strength appropriate to temporary service; it is not a substitute for a definitive restoration and is removed at the next visit. The white and pink shades let you choose between a temporary that is easy to identify in the mouth and one that is less conspicuous. It is supplied in a 40 g jar, and the lid should be closed firmly after use so the material in the jar is not affected by moisture.
