Description
This elastic lumbar corset applies compression across the lower back and supports it against everyday strain. Stays in the back panel keep the corset upright at waist level; because they sit in fabric pockets they never touch the skin and do not cause irritation. The breathable monofilament elastic fabric does not trap sweat or odour, so it can be worn through long shifts. It is chosen for lower-back fatigue by people who sit at a desk or stand all day, and is thin enough to wear under clothing. This model is more flexible than steel-stayed lumbosacral and lumbostad corsets — for fractures, post-operative care or any situation needing firm immobilisation, a more rigid model is appropriate. Size is set by measuring waist circumference with a tape. The stays can be removed for hand washing, and the corset dried flat on a towel.
