Description
Ergonom-X self-developing film is a single-use dental film that allows periapical radiographs to be processed without tanks or a darkroom. The upper section of the packet holds the film in a sealed plastic pouch, while the lower section carries a compartment with combined developing and fixing solution. After exposure the compartment is burst and the solution spread over the film, so the image is produced right at the chair — a decisive convenience for practices without a processing setup and for fieldwork. Image quality depends largely on distributing the solution evenly across the film, so the packet must be worked for the time stated in the instructions. Rinsing and drying the film after processing slows the yellowing of the image over time. The product is sold per film; the standard manufacturer pack contains 50.
