Description
The FFS680 is a reusable respirator that protects the whole face against gases, vapours and particulates. Unlike a half mask it also covers the eyes, so in crop spraying, painting, solvent work and dusty environments you do not need separate goggles against irritating vapours. The body is moulded in silicone-thermoplastic elastomer, a material that stays soft over long wear without marking the face, and the silicone face seal reduces leakage around the edges. The twin filter design lowers breathing resistance compared with a single-filter mask — the difference you notice most over a long shift. Filters attach through a bayonet mount and the mask takes P200 series filters and cartridges; which filter is required depends on the chemical being handled. The wide-angle visor and balanced head harness keep the mask comfortable over extended use. This item is size M; because protection depends heavily on a tight facial seal, choosing the right size matters.
