Description
This replacement gingiva renews the gum layer of the Frasaco AK-6 paedodontic training model. The mask is fitted over the model base and stays in place once the model teeth are seated, with no adhesive required. The elastic material behaves close to real soft tissue during deciduous tooth preparation, stainless steel crown fitting and gingival incision exercises. Because a child model's gingival contour differs from the adult arch, the AK-6 mask is not interchangeable with the adult AG-3 mask, and the arch required — upper or lower — should be stated when ordering. Replacing only the worn mask is more economical than renewing the whole model while base and teeth are still sound. It is a regularly consumed spare part in dental faculties and paediatric training laboratories.
