Description
The FS-804LABJP is a compact transport model, set apart from standard chairs by its small-diameter rear wheels. That design has two consequences: the chair manoeuvres far more easily in narrow corridors and crowds, but the user cannot self-propel from hand rims — it is always pushed by an attendant. It therefore suits users who will not drive the wheels themselves, and short-duration use such as travel, hospital appointments and shopping trips. Folded, the aluminium frame makes a light, tidy package, which can be decisive on a plane or coach journey. Armrests flip up and footrests detach, so transfers can be made by sliding sideways. Fasten the seat belt low across the pelvis. Small wheels struggle on broken ground and kerbs; if daily outdoor use dominates, a large-rear-wheel model is the better choice.
