Description
The FS-864LAJ is an aluminium-framed manual wheelchair for everyday use. In practical terms the frame material decides two things: aluminium is lighter and it does not rust in humid air, which helps families who lift the chair daily and anyone living near the coast. The armrests detach or flip up and the footrests come off. Taken together, those two features let you slide the user sideways from bed to chair instead of lifting them forward — the method to prefer for the carer's back. Hand rims on the rear wheels allow self-propelling. Set the footplate height when the chair arrives; if the feet do not rest fully on the plates, weight loads onto the back of the thighs and invites discomfort and skin problems during long periods of sitting. For sizing, measure the user's hip width and send it to us.
