Description
The FS-895 sits beside the bed where walking to the bathroom is difficult or unsafe. Having a commode at the bedside removes the need to cross a dark corridor during the night, which is when most falls of this kind happen. The side arms give a hold for sitting down and standing up; a user who can manage that alone gains independence, and the carer gains time. The pan lifts out for easy emptying and cleaning, and with the seat cover closed the chair draws less attention in the room. Set the leg height to the user's knee angle — feet flat on the floor make a clear difference to the power available when standing.
