Description
The FS-980LA-35 is an aluminium wheelchair sized for children, with a 35 cm seat width. Seat width matters even more in children than in adults: too wide and the child leans to one side, which over time affects spinal posture; too narrow and pressure builds on the outer hips. Measure across the widest point of the hips with the child seated, add about 2 cm, and reassess as they grow. The armrests adjust in height, letting the child rest their arms comfortably without raising the shoulders. Pneumatic rear tyres absorb vibration on rough ground, improving comfort on the school run and outdoors — in exchange, the pressure needs checking regularly. Capacity is 75 kg. Flip-up armrests and detachable footrests make transfers easier. The aluminium frame keeps the chair light, which a parent feels every day lifting it in and out of a car.
