Description
Imident liquid is the monomer component of the acrylic system used for temporary crowns and bridges and works with the powder of the same range. The mix polymerises on its own at room temperature, so provisionals can be made chairside or in the laboratory without any heat source. Because the liquid is sold separately, practices that stock several powder shades only need to replace the component they actually run out of. The monomer is volatile and flammable: keep the bottle closed when not in use, ventilate the working area and store the product cool and away from light. Keeping to the powder-to-liquid ratio matters both for a predictable working time and for a set material free of porosity. The product is manufactured to BS 2487 Type II Class III and carries CE marking.
