Description
ImiSeal is a separating varnish that creates a barrier film between the flasked plaster surface and the acrylic resin during denture production. Without such a film the acrylic keys into the plaster: plaster residue is left on the surface at deflasking and additional trimming is needed. With ImiSeal applied, the denture separates cleanly from the plaster and no sticky residue remains on the acrylic tooth surfaces, which directly affects both the time spent at the polishing stage and the final surface quality. The varnish should be brushed onto a clean, slightly damp plaster surface as a thin, even film with a soft brush; too thick a film can mark the acrylic surface, while missed areas cause sticking. Acrylic teeth and retention areas should be left uncoated, as varnish there weakens the bond between tooth and denture base. The product is manufactured under an ISO 13485 medical device quality management system. This pack is 110 ml; the same product is also available in 250 ml, 500 ml, 1 L and 5 L.
