Description
Imicryl I.Q. liquid is the monomer component of the heat-cure acrylic system used to fabricate complete and partial dentures, and it is used with I.Q. powder. The mix is proportioned at 25 g of powder to 10 ml of liquid; at 23 °C it reaches dough consistency in 8 to 12 minutes and stays workable for about 45 minutes. Polymerisation is completed by curing for 20 minutes in water at 100 °C, so the material fits the conventional flasking and water-bath workflow. It is manufactured to BS 2487 Type 1 Class 1, falls under an ISO 13485 quality management system and carries CE marking. The monomer is volatile and flammable, so keep the bottle tightly closed and store it cool, ventilated and out of direct sunlight. The 250 ml pack suits laboratories that stock powder and liquid separately and go through liquid at their own rate.
