Description
Kinesio Tex Gold is the original product of the brand that founded kinesiology taping, applied to the skin in physiotherapy and sports care. The weave is engineered to approximate the elasticity of skin; the structure the brand calls 'nano-touch' aims to imitate the hand contact of manual therapy so that sensory input to the skin is maintained continuously. The adhesive surface is thinner and lower in tack — the 'micro-grip' structure — so the tape sits more lightly on the skin while its tight fibrils keep it anchored. 'Micro-stimulation' refers to the tape being designed to work at a cellular level without irritating the skin. This roll is 5 centimetres wide, 5 metres long and black; colour choice does not change performance.
