Description
Lymphoedema compression devices inflate and deflate air sleeves worn on an arm or leg in sequence, supporting the movement of fluid that has collected in the tissue; treatment is carried out according to the programme your doctor or physiotherapist sets. Pressure on the Mesilife PT-1002 is adjustable from 20 to 250 mmHg, and that wide span matters because it allows a start at low pressure on sensitive tissue and a gradual progression in line with the treatment plan. The cycle time is chosen as 10, 20 or 30 minutes, so each session ends by itself without needing to be timed. Two sleeve options are offered: a single arm sleeve version, and a twin-leg version that treats both legs at once — the second halves session time where both legs are involved. Sleeves come in several sizes; choosing the right one matters because pressure must spread evenly along the limb, and a sleeve that is too tight or too loose changes what the treatment does. At 30 W it is suited to sustained use at home. Pressure, duration and frequency must always follow your doctor's instructions, and medical approval is essential before use in conditions such as deep vein thrombosis, active infection or heart failure.
