Description
The Power Web is a web-shaped rubber exerciser for the hand, fingers and wrist. What sets it apart from a simple hand ball is that it trains the fingers in extension as well as in grip; pushing the fingers outwards through the web openings targets the finger extensors, which grip exercises usually neglect. This model is 36 centimetres in diameter and weighs 450 grams. Yellow marks Level 1, the lightest of the resistance grades — a sensible starting point for beginners, for early post-injury work and for users with reduced grip strength, moving up to firmer colours as strength returns. The web is made of high-quality reinforced rubber for long service life. Its patented design lets a single item cover a wide range of movements. Repetitions and duration should be set by a physiotherapist, particularly when it is used for rehabilitation.
