Description

TENS electrodes are the adhesive pads that carry current from an electrostimulation device to the skin, and their condition affects the session as much as the device itself. These pads measure 5×5 cm, the size most often used on medium areas such as the lower back, shoulder, knee and calf. The pack holds four pads, a full set for a two-channel device. The surface is a high-conductivity adhesive gel; as conductivity drops, the tingling sensation weakens and current tends to concentrate at one point, so the pads should be checked regularly. They fit all TENS and stimulation devices with standard connectors. Replace pads that have lost their tack or whose edges are lifting, and return each pad to its backing film and sealed pouch after use to extend its life. Ask your doctor before using them over irritated or broken skin, or near a pacemaker.
