Description
The LC 101 is a post-operative compression garment that covers the chin and neck together. Unlike the LC 100 chin and ear band, its compression area extends across the neckline, which is why it is chosen after procedures involving the neck. Sizes are selected by measuring neck circumference, with the 27-47 cm range split into three; the right size matters both for adequate compression and for breathing and swallowing to stay comfortable. For post-operative compression to work, the garment must stay in the same position without slipping through the day. How long and how many hours a day it is worn is set by the operating surgeon. If you feel pressure in the neck, shortness of breath, or the skin marks, consult your doctor before continuing.
