Description
Silicone earplugs sit in the ear canal to reduce ambient noise or keep water out of the ear. They are used for sleeping, on long journeys, in the shower and the sea, while reading, and by people working in noisy environments. What distinguishes this model is the cord: the line joining the two plugs stops them getting lost and makes removal easier — you pull on the cord rather than reaching into the canal with a finger. To fit them, hold the plug by its cord and push it into the ear canal until outside noise drops away; do not push it in further than needed. Check the seating with a fingertip once in place. Use the cord to take them out. The plugs can be cleaned and reused; they are personal items and should not be shared. Anyone with ear discharge, an infection or an eardrum problem should consult a doctor before using them.
