Description
This little toe protector is a silicone cushion that keeps the outermost toe from rubbing against the side wall of the shoe. The fifth toe takes some of the heaviest pressure in narrow-lasted shoes, and over time that friction produces corns and painful pressure points. The pad places a soft buffer between toe and shoe to reduce that contact. The silicone is hypoallergenic and thin enough to be worn with socks inside ordinary shoes. Being washable, it can be reused over a long period. If the whole toe needs covering, a silicone toe sleeve is more suitable; for a bony prominence on the big toe, a bunion protector is the right product. If a corn is growing or pain is increasing, consult a healthcare professional.
