Description
The chestpiece is the part of a stethoscope that collects sound from the body, and it is the piece most likely to be damaged in daily use. This spare lets you renew a cracked diaphragm, a dented body or a missing head without replacing the whole stethoscope. On the simple stethoscopes supplied with aneroid blood pressure sets, the chestpiece takes most of the wear from being carried loose in a case. Single-sided and dual-sided versions exist: a single-sided head listens through the diaphragm only, while a dual-sided head adds a bell side for lower-pitched sounds. Before ordering, compare the tube diameter and connector on your stethoscope, since fittings are not identical across manufacturers. The pack contains the chestpiece only — Y tubing and earpieces are separate spares. If you are unsure about fit, send us the make and model of your stethoscope.
