Description
The AL 06 A is a rigid aluminium walking frame used to support balance while walking. The aluminium tube frame is noticeably lighter than a steel one, which you feel directly with a walker that is lifted and moved forward with every step. Folding with a single button means no struggle before you take it with you, and folded it takes little space in a car boot or cupboard. Height adjustment brings the handgrips to the user's wrist level — the setting to get right at first assembly, since it determines the load on the shoulders and wrists. It is used for support when getting up from a bed or chair, for safe walking over short distances and during post-operative mobilisation. A child-size version of the same range is made as the AL 06 A-C. If wheels, brakes or a seat are needed, rollator-type products are a separate option.
