Description
The Accu-Chek Instant is a Roche blood glucose meter for self-monitoring at home. It needs only 0.6 microlitres of blood and shows the result in about four seconds. Its most distinctive feature is the colour target range indicator, which shows at a glance whether a result falls below, within or above the target range without you having to interpret the number. Coding is automatic, so there is nothing to enter when you change strip lots. Memory holds at least 720 time-stamped results, and 7, 14, 30 and 90-day averages give you a record to take to your doctor. Bluetooth connects the meter to the mySugr app so readings transfer to your phone. It runs on two CR2032 lithium coin cells and weighs about 43 grams, light enough to carry every day.
