Description
A metatarsal pad spreads the pressure that falls on the metatarsal heads just behind the toes, and is chosen by people who stand for long periods, wear thin-soled or heeled shoes, or describe burning in the forefoot. This one is made of high-density foam, which compresses under load to absorb shock and impact, then returns to shape. Its anatomical cut suits different foot types and stops the forefoot sliding forward inside the shoe, limiting the repeated rubbing that drives callus formation. To fit it, clean the forefoot area of the shoe, peel the backing label from the pad and press it firmly into place. Let shoes dry in the shade when not in use; moisture weakens both the foam and the adhesive. The pad is reusable. If you have a condition affecting foot sensation, such as diabetes, check your skin regularly after starting to use it.
