Description
The FS-3020 lets you adjust the head and leg sections without any mains connection. Positions are changed with crank handles at the foot of the bed: cheaper than a powered bed and unaffected by power cuts, but every adjustment means the carer walking to the end of the bed. That makes the FS-3020 a better fit for partly mobile patients who do not need frequent repositioning; if the position changes many times a day, look at the electric FS-3230W or FS-3239WZF4 instead. The side rails lock individually, so the transfer side can be left down while the rest stay up. Perforated back, waist and leg panels allow air to circulate beneath the mattress. Frame height is a fixed 28 cm with no hi-lo adjustment, so when choosing mattress thickness aim for a total height that lets the patient put both feet flat on the floor when getting up. The mattress is not included.
