Description
The FS-577 mounts onto a hospital bed frame and gives the user a solid point to hold. Sitting up from lying down is one of the movements people needing care struggle with most through the day; with a firm handle to pull on, much of that movement can be done with arm strength instead. That gains the user independence and it protects the carer's back at the same time, because there is less need to lift by pulling. The handle also serves as an anchor for turning onto one side and shifting position in bed. The critical point is compatibility: because it clamps to the bed's frame profile, it does not fit every bed. Before ordering, send us the make and model of your bed and, if you can, a photo of the head-end profile so we can check the fit with you. After fitting, always confirm the handle sits fully home on the frame and does not move under load.
