Description
The FS-9306L is an adjustable cane giving light balance support on everyday walks. Weight is what makes cane use sustainable: on something carried in the hand all day, a few hundred grams decides whether the person keeps taking it with them. That is why aluminium is preferred over wooden models, and it does not deteriorate in humid air. Set the length so that, standing upright in shoes with the arm hanging loose, the handle reaches the wrist crease. On stairs the rule is: going up, strong leg first, then cane and weaker leg; coming down, cane and weaker leg first, then the strong leg. Keeping that sequence in mind prevents a large share of stair falls. The non-slip rubber tip is the cane's only contact with the ground and should be replaced as soon as it starts to wear.
