Description
This replacement mattress is for alternating-pressure beds whose compressor still works but whose mattress has been punctured, worn out or needs replacing for hygiene reasons. The mattress is built from rows of air cells; the compressor inflates and deflates them in turn so that pressure never rests continuously on the same part of the body. For people confined to bed for long periods this is an important part of daily care. The fluid-resistant PVC surface can be wiped clean, which keeps maintenance simple. Before ordering, tell us the brand of your compressor, the hose connector type and the bed dimensions so that you do not receive an incompatible mattress. Avoid placing hard objects under the mattress and do not stretch bed linen too tightly over it, to reduce the risk of punctures.
