Description
Roll Fix is a wide-roll fixation tape made from adhesive applied to a stretchable non-woven fabric. Unlike narrow strip tapes it can cover a dressing in one piece: the 10 and 15 cm rolls secure large post-operative dressings and wide pads at their edges in a single application, which reduces the risk of edges lifting or the dressing sliding. Because the backing stretches, the tape lengthens with the body over moving areas such as the elbow, knee, shoulder and abdomen — an inelastic tape gathers there and drags on the skin. The tape is hypoallergenic and is cut from the roll to the length needed, so it can be matched to the wound without waste. Apply it at its natural length rather than under tension; tape applied stretched keeps pulling on the skin and can raise blisters. The range includes sizes such as 5 cm × 5 m, 10 cm × 10 m and 15 cm × 10 m.
