Description
This sitz bath basin lets you soak the perineal area in warm water without getting into a bathtub. With the toilet seat lifted, the basin rests on the rim of the bowl, so you do not need a separate bowl or a step into the bath. An overflow channel around the edge lets excess water run into the toilet rather than onto the floor. Warm-water sitz baths are commonly used for haemorrhoids, anal fissure and after an episiotomy; water temperature, duration and any solution added to the water should follow your doctor's instructions.
