Description
This is a hinged corrector used to hold the big toe in a straighter position in hallux valgus. The knob on the side lets you set the applied angle in steps to match the degree of valgus — the clearest difference from simple fixed-angle splints. Because the hinge allows 160 degrees of flexible rotation, the toe retains some natural movement while the splint is worn. A soft silicone inner pad sits over the prominence at the base of the toe, cushioning it and reducing rubbing between the toes. The set includes three pairs of toe spacers in three sizes, so it can be adapted to different degrees of deviation. The product is one size, washable and reusable. Wearing it for short periods at first and building up gradually makes it easier to tolerate; remove it and consult your doctor if you feel pain or numbness.
