Description
This reversible wrist splint can be worn on either hand, which makes it practical because no left/right distinction is needed. Aluminium and plastic stays hold the wrist close to a neutral position and limit strain-inducing bending. Mesh air-tex fabric and built-in channels ventilate the inside of the splint, while the terry lining against the skin absorbs sweat — the detail that decides comfort in a splint worn overnight. It is used where wrist stabilisation is required, in carpal and ulnar tunnel syndrome, ligament ruptures, segmental fluid build-up and wrist pain. Two sizes are made: S-M for a 14-18 cm wrist circumference and L-XXL for 18-26 cm. Measure the narrowest point of the wrist when choosing a size. If the thumb also needs immobilising, look at splint models with thumb support.
