Description
The HB 5303 immobilises the thumb and limits its movement together with the wrist. The perforated neoprene keeps the area warm while allowing airflow, and the terry lining absorbs sweat and softens the surface against the skin — which makes a real difference over a full day of wear. The outer surface accepts Velcro, so you set the wrapping tension yourself. It is used where thumb immobilisation is required, in De Quervain's syndrome and in rheumatic conditions such as tendinitis. It is made in one size and conforms by wrapping around the wrist. If firmer immobilisation or a malleable stay is needed, the KB 433 knitted thumb brace with an aluminium support is an alternative. During long-term wear, keep up any exercises your doctor recommends so the thumb joints do not stiffen.
