Description
The KB 301 is a knitted compression support for the ankle. Its circular-knit elastic fabric applies even pressure all around the joint while letting the skin breathe, so it can be worn inside a shoe throughout the day. An elastic strap lets you add as much extra support as you need on top of the fixed knitted compression. It is used to support a strained ankle in mild ligament laxity, to keep the area warm so muscles and tendons stay relaxed, and to help reduce swelling. Size is selected by measuring ankle circumference; the 20-30 cm range is divided into five sizes from S to XXL. Getting the size right matters, since a support that is too tight restricts circulation and one that is too loose slips. Where a fracture is suspected or the sprain is severe, a support alone is not enough and medical assessment is needed.
