Description
Cold spray is used when immediate cooling is needed on the pitch or in the clinic and there is no time to prepare ice or a cold compress, which is why it is kept in sports grounds and physiotherapy units. Cryos is produced with an environmentally friendly gas that does not harm the ozone layer and holds an ISO 9002 quality certificate. It is used where superficial cold anaesthesia is required and to help reduce oedema and pain after trauma. In physiotherapy it is also the standard product for the spray-and-stretch technique in myofascial pain syndromes. The eucalyptus essence in the formulation leaves a pleasant scent during application. The 400 ml can suits frequent use. Do not spray too close to the skin or hold it on one spot for long, as excessive cooling can damage tissue. It should not be applied to open wounds, the eyes or mucous membranes.
