Description
The Mesilife K1 is a fingertip pulse oximeter dimensioned for children, measuring blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate. Adult oximeter clips do not close properly on a small finger, which weakens the signal and skews the reading; the K1's smaller clip removes that problem. It is used at home to follow the oxygen level a doctor has asked you to watch in conditions such as asthma, bronchiolitis or respiratory infections. The unit runs on a built-in rechargeable battery topped up with a Type-C cable rather than disposable cells, so it can stay in a bag ready for use. Keep the child's hand still during measurement and make sure the finger is free of nail polish, otherwise the reading can mislead. The device does not diagnose; discuss the readings with your doctor.
