Description
The medication chamber is the part of a compressor nebuliser that does the actual work: compressed air from the pump passes through a fine jet inside the cup and breaks the liquid into droplets. Its condition therefore governs how much mist you get, regardless of how strong the compressor is; if sessions are getting longer or the visible mist has dropped off, the cause is usually a blocked or worn chamber rather than the pump. This spare chamber fits the Omron CompAir NE-C28 and NE-C29; before trying it on another make or model, compare the air tube fitting and the way the cup seats. After use the chamber should be taken apart, washed as the manufacturer instructs and dried completely, since medication residue left inside dries and blocks the jet. A chamber left damp is also a risk for bacterial growth, which is why each user should have their own. Chambers are consumables and are expected to be renewed at intervals in regular use — follow the replacement schedule in your device's manual.
