Description
An oxygen cylinder trolley lets a full cylinder be moved around a home or clinic without lifting it, and because a full 10-litre cylinder is too heavy to carry unaided, the trolley effectively determines how usable the cylinder is. The trolley itself weighs 2.5 kg and measures 25 × 30 × 96 cm; the push handle lets the user steer it without bending. The frame is finished in antibacterial electrostatic powder coating, which makes it easy to wipe clean in hospital and home care settings. It runs on two ABS antistatic wheels. The retaining chain that secures the cylinder is the most important safety feature: a pressurised cylinder that tips over can damage the valve and cause a serious accident, so make sure the chain is fastened before every move. The trolley is designed for 10-litre cylinders only; check compatibility if your cylinder is a different size.
